Understanding Neurodiversity with Bairbre Kelly - Psychotherapist and mental health advocate. Bairbre works with adolescents and adults and has a particular interest in ADHD & ASD. Bairbre joined Dr. Mary Kane to have a chat about neurodiversity.
Navigating School Anxiety With Padraig Danaher - a Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist, Positive Psychology Coach and Trauma Specialist. Padraig is here to give us his perspective on supporting children for whom school based anxiety is a real struggle. Padraig talks through some clinically proven methods students can use to soothe their nervous systems. These practices should empower teens with supports to deal with their anxiety. Padraig and Dr. Mary chat about the impact that a teens anxiety about school has on the whole family - the message was: you are doing enough; you are enough.
Positive Psychology and Wellbeing with Siobhan Connolly Hogan - from Sona Real Life Positivity. Siobhan has over 25 years of experience teaching adolescents, but also has a Masters in Positive Psychology. Siobhan joined Dr. Mary to talk about Positive Psychology, and how we can use it to improve our wellbeing.
