Meitheal Leaders 2025–2026

Meitheal Leaders 2025–2026

Congratulations to our newly appointed Meitheal Leaders for the 2025–2026 school year.

Coláiste Eoin is proud to announce this year’s Meitheal team:
Jaymie Bracken, Sienna Connolly, Cassie Daly, Josh Farrell, Hannah Daly, Dáire Byrne, Mark Kinsella, Áine Lambert, Eimear O’Toole, and Megan Weekes.

These outstanding senior students have been chosen for their leadership, empathy, and dedication to supporting others. As part of the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin Meitheal Programme, they have completed leadership training to prepare them for their important role as mentors to our incoming first-year students.

Throughout the year, our Meitheal Leaders will work closely with staff and students to help first years settle into post-primary life. They will organise activities that promote friendship, inclusion, and wellbeing, while serving as positive role models and ambassadors for our school community.

The Meitheal Programme also strengthens student voice within Coláiste Eoin. By encouraging students to take an active role in shaping school life, it ensures that every voice is heard and valued. Our Meitheal Leaders represent their peers, helping to create a culture of kindness, respect, and connection throughout the school.

At Coláiste Eoin, we take great pride in our motto — “Small School with a Big Heart.” Our Meitheal team embodies this spirit through their kindness, leadership, and commitment to making every student feel welcome and supported.

We wish our Meitheal Leaders every success in the year ahead and thank them for their dedication to promoting friendship, inclusion, and student voice across our school community.
