Applications for the Autism/Special Class at Coláiste Eoin Hacketstown for the 2026/2027 academic year will open on Thursday, March 26th 2026.
The deadline to submit applications is Thursday, April 16th 2026.
Documentation from the NCSE (National Council for Special Education) confirming that the child is known to the NCSE and has the required diagnosis and recommendation for a special class must be obtained prior to an application being submitted.
Steps to Enrolling (Two Separate Forms Required)

Access and complete the Application Form for Autism/Special Class 2026/2027 via our website (link above) and submit it to the school office by Thursday, April 16th 2026.

Upon receiving the application, if a place is offered for your child, a Letter of Offer will be sent by Tuesday, May 05th 2026.

Successful applicants must confirm their acceptance by completing and returning the Acceptance Form for Admission on or before Tuesday, May 12th 2026.

Please be aware that any applications received after the deadline of Thursday, April 16th 2026 will be treated as Late Applications.
Coláiste Eoin has been granted a second Autism/Special Class by the Department of Education and Youth and the National Council for Special Education (NCSE) for Academic Year 2026/2027. We want to make all the school community aware of this development. The applications window has now opened for families that have not yet secured an Autism/Special Class place to apply for a place in the additional ASD/Special Class. Applications can be accessed and completed from to-day Thursday 26th of March 2026 and must be submitted to the school office by the deadline of Thursday 16th of April 2026.
