Last week really was fantastic for all the students and staff in Coláiste Eoin. There were so many activities that it was hard to get to them all.
This action-packed schedule began with meditation, mindful coloring, music and jiving.
Day two started with pay-it-forward where T/Y students distributed thoughtful messages to all students and teachers, followed by a bake sale.
Traditional music was part of day three activities with fruit and a pastry for each student.
By day four, the gratitude wall filled while T/Y students cycled the greenway. A football match between the first and second years brought out friendly rivalry.
In the afternoon fifth- and sixth-year students enjoyed sports with John Kenny.
Day five was rainbow day and prizes were awarded for the most colourful outfits, poster competition, hopes and dreams box filled up and Nathalie Lennon personal trainer and influencer put students through their paces.
A huge well done to all students who participated, to Ms. Balfe and Ms. O’ Connor for organizing the week and to Ms. Leeann Cummins for the jiving and traditional music.
To top it all off €300 was raised for Pieta House. A special mention to Ms. Dalton who won the prize for the most steps completed; completing 94,919 steps from Monday the 8th to Friday the 12th.
