On Friday, 7th March 2025, Coláiste Eoin students visited Teagasc Kildalton College in Piltown, Co. Kilkenny, as part of their career exploration and research opportunities in agriculture, horticulture, and equine studies.
As Ireland’s largest Teagasc college, Kildalton offers state-of-the-art facilities and expert-led training. Students explored working farms, glasshouses, and equestrian grounds while learning about sustainable farming, modern technology, and career pathways.
The visit included interactive workshops and demonstrations, providing valuable insights into potential further education and career opportunities. A special thanks to Career Guidance teacher Ms. O’Keeffe and the accompanying staff for organising and supporting this valuable learning experience.
