On May 6th, students from Coláiste Eoin proudly competed in the Athletics Senior South Leinster Schools Championships at SETU Carlow, testing their speed and determination against the region's best.
6th-year student Eoin Byrne put in a particularly impressive performance, winning his heats in both the 200m and 100m events. Despite narrowly missing out on a medal, finishing 4th in both finals, Eoin's efforts reflect his exceptional athletic talent and commitment.
Daire Byrne also showcased his speed, placing 2nd in his 100m heat, though unfortunately, he didn't get the chance to run in the final due to the early bus departure.
Though the day didn’t yield any medals, all our athletes displayed fantastic effort and school spirit, making the most of the experience and bringing pride to Coláiste Eoin.
Well done to all involved!
