With Leaving Certificate results due on Friday, 21 August, the recent Coláiste Eoin Debs provided a wonderful opportunity for our Leaving Certificate students to relax, celebrate and enjoy one final gathering with their classmates before beginning the next chapter of their lives.
A huge well done to the Debs Committee for organising such a memorable occasion and ensuring the evening was a fitting celebration for the Class of 2026.
Before heading off to enjoy the festivities, students were kindly invited by Principal Mr Alan Costello, together with their class teachers Ms O’Meara and Ms King, to gather for photographs with their friends and classmates on the school grounds. With Eagle Hill providing a beautiful backdrop, it was a lovely opportunity to capture some final memories of their time together at Coláiste Eoin. Everyone looked fantastic and ready to enjoy a very special evening.
As our Leaving Certificate students prepare for results day, the wider school community is also looking forward to the beginning of the 2026/27 academic year.
Just one week after the Leaving Certificate results, we will welcome our incoming First Year students on Thursday, 27 August, for their induction day and their first official experience of life as Coláiste Eoin students.
This will be followed by the first assembly for First, Third and Sixth Year students on Friday, 28 August, before the new school year gets fully underway on Monday, 31 August.
For now, however, our thoughts are very much with the Leaving Certificate Class of 2026. We wish each and every one of our students the very best of luck as they receive their results next Friday. We hope they are proud of all they have achieved during their time at Coláiste Eoin, and we wish them every happiness and success as they take their next steps into further education, training, employment and the many exciting opportunities ahead.
Best of luck to the Class of 2026. We are very proud of you and look forward to hearing where your next chapter takes you.
