As part of this year’s Wellbeing Week, staff from Coláiste Eoin, came together to support a cause close to many hearts. A group of colleagues took on the challenge of hiking Keadeen Mountain in Co. Wicklow, raising an impressive €2,070 in aid of the South Wicklow Hospice.
The initiative fostered a strong sense of teamwork and community spirit, blending physical wellbeing with purposeful fundraising. Carefully organised, with attention to safety and logistics, the hike reflected the values we uphold daily in Coláiste Eoin, kindness, care, and connection.
A huge well done to the Wellbeing Committee, Liz O’Connor, Dominique Balfe, Emer Doyle and to all the other staff members who got involved and made the event such a success.
Staff were proud to present the cheque to representatives from the South Wicklow Hospice and are deeply grateful to everyone who supported the effort. The funds raised will directly support the provision of essential palliative care services in the local area.
It was a wonderful opportunity to spend time together outdoors, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and contribute to a service that provides invaluable support to families across South Wicklow.
