Ms Kaylynn Broxson delivered a superb defensive performance in the All-Ireland Ladies Football semi-final at the weekend, holding the in-form Eva Noone to just three points — a remarkable feat given Noone’s 1-08 in the Connacht final.
While Kaylynn’s side, Comeragh Rangers, were defeated, Kilkerrin-Clonberne’s “Drive for Five” remains on track after an eleven-point win booked their place in the AIB All-Ireland Senior Club Championship final in two weeks. There were just two points between the sides at half-time before the champions pulled away in front of a home crowd.
We are immensely proud of Ms Broxson’s discipline, determination, and leadership, a fantastic role model for our students and school community. Well done, Kaylynn.
