TY TRIP

TY TOUR

The TY class managed a wonderful escape to Italy in what can only be hailed as a wonderful last hurrah. The class as always worked very hard throughout the year and the culmination of activities is always found in the school tour. Organised by Miss Cummins and ably assisted by Mr Brennan, Miss Hodnett and Mr Dunphy the class travelled to Venice, Verona Lake Garda and Milan. Along the way, they visited Juliet’s house from the Shakespearean classic Romeo and Juliet, the amphitheatre, Arena di Verona, Sirimione, Gardaland, San Siro Stadium and viewed the Last Supper Da Vinci’s famous artwork. There was culture, fun and academia throughout the trip. Travel arrangements were by plane, boat, bus and gondola as the TY’s made memories that will stay with them forever. The tour is genuinely a highlight of the year, many of the activities throughout the year help to pay towards costs and the students gained a lot from the trip. Thanks to all involved for their help and assistance with organisation and implementation and thankfully all arrived home safe and well2798a2da-93db-4c4c-89bd-cfcfbd4b3bb47ab1975f-affe-4062-ab01-52563ab771f117518c62-3e03-423b-b577-5fc3429a617c11922fd7-c414-44dd-9135-7aaba51e62cd
